Terms and conditions
- Minimum sum of ₹1,000 and thereafter in multiples of ₹1/- (Rates applicable basis amount).
- Available in traditional or cumulative/re-investment plans.
- The rate of interest paid for fixed deposit may vary depending on the tenure. For tenure of up to 6 months, calculation will be on simple interest basis. Interest will be compounded only for re-investment FDs.
- Option of auto-renewing the FD at the end of the term. If not opted, the principal and interest is paid back to your account with us.
- The fixed deposit can be opened for a minimum period of 7 days to maximum of 10 years.
- In event of premature withdrawal, a penalty of 1% will be applicable.
- In case of Premature withdrawal for Closure or renewal or partial withdrawal of term deposit, interest shall be paid for the period the deposit remained with the bank at a rate of interest prevailing on the date of booking of the deposit for such tenor, less the applicable penalty of 1%.
